I'm afraid to say Haysi doesn't have much of a chance at all. They won't be able to hang with Powell Valley I am afraid. Any Division 2 team in our region that needed overtime to defeat Rye Cove, Ryan Jones or no Ryan Jones, isn't going to be able to bring a victory against a good Powell Valley team. I know a lot won't like my statement, but that is just how I feel. Good luck to Haysi this Saturday, just think that basketball season will start in Sandlick shortly after the final horn sounds on November 26th.

I respect your opnion...but your wrong since we are comparing previous games we dominated the green wave and im pretty sure they beat the mighty overpowering vikings with their fancy uniforms and their fancy spread offence(yes thats sarcasm you are detecting) haysi may not win but the red tigers will stand toe to toe with they baby blue sailors

WOW!! i-catching, i guess no team can have a bad game in your eyes. the only thing that matters is a win. i guess you are right all the past champs never lost a game, did they? what type of offense did pv run? oh i forgot its the haysi spread offense. i wonder why they started running colleys offense?

The Haysi team who played Rye Cove was one who wasn't comfortable throwing the football, and Colley didn't even try to run against RC (he made his team tough it out with the passing game). Trust me, if Haysi had just decided to put the ball in the hands of Counts/Owens, RC doesn't even sniff overtime that night.

Haysi wins, but I see this game being in the 30s for both teams.
